Still loving #7, #13, #14, #15, #16, #17, and #21 from my 0-3 Months Baby Favorites. Here are some new must have items that I am loving for 3-6 months.

  1. Graco Swing: Now that Josh is a little bigger, I love this Graco Cozy Duet Swing Plus Rocker a lot more. When he was really tiny, he lived in his Mamaroo. But once he started getting bigger and more alert, the back and forth swing motion seemed to be more his style. It is higher off the ground, so it is easier to put him in at and take him out for me. I love that it is fairy compact and doesn’t take up a ton of room in our little house. And bonus! The chair part lifts and clips out, so I can take it off and Josh can sit in it when Shawn and I go outside. When we eat dinner in our backyard, I put the clipped off chair part right on the table. It’s perfect!
  2. Graco Fastaction Fold Jogger Click Connect Stroller: I still love my Graco Click Connect Car Seat, but once Josh was around 3.5 months old, I started venturing out of the house a lot more. And using a stroller a lot more. And I wasn’t obsessed with the Elite Stroller base I got. It worked ok for going to the grocery store and such, but using the stroller outside it felt…flimsy. I saw a lot of other moms using big old jogging strollers when they were out and about. I looked online, and decided to try out the Graco Fastaction Fold Jogger Click Connect Stroller. I am obsessed with it! It is a way smoother ride and easier to push.I’m tallish, 5’8″, and I like that this is more my size. Josh is up a lot higher and closer to me. It has more storage underneath. Love the cup holder and little storage compartment at the handle bar. I still keep Josh in his car seat and clip him on to it, but when he is bigger I can strap him directly in to the stroller. He’ll really grow in to this. Now we go on tons of walks outside with Josh in this stroller. Love it! It does take up basically my entire trunk of my car, but it’s worth it to me.
  3. Beco Gemini Carrier: Once Josh was about 14 pounds, he started getting a little too heavy for his Solly Baby Wrap. I started using my Beco Gemini Carrier, and it was way more comfortable for my back and shoulders. Now, Josh lives in this when I am cleaning the house or cooking. He loves being in it facing out when I’m doing a big grocery shop and don’t want to take up the whole cart with his car seat. Or when we go to friends house and are hanging around outside, it’s a lot easier to wear Josh that hold him. Shawn likes wearing it too, and it is too cute seeing Josh strapped to Shawn.
  4. Graco Bumper Jumper: I can’t even believe how much Josh loves his jumper! We call it his jumpa-jump. He goes nuts for it. It easily keeps him entertained for 30 minutes. He loves using his legs and jumping up and down over and over. Another great way to keep him entertained while I’m folding laundry or cooking dinner. And I like that it lets him use his leg muscles to start getting them strong and ready for walking!
  5. Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breastpump: We had our first wedding when Josh was 5 months old, and figuring out how I was going to pump while working was a huge undertaking. I can never be sure that I’ll be able to find a great spot at the wedding venue. I love my Medela Pump In Style, and got the car adapter so I can always pump in the car if I have no where better. I got the little cooler carrier and ice pack that holds 4 bottles, and that is perfect for me.
  6. Sophie: I can’t believe how much Josh likes his Sophie! I thought it would be just another toy, but he really is obsessed. I think because it’s easy for him to hold? And she makes a great chew toy as he is starting to teeth. Sophie is always in the car seat or swing with Josh. He loves her.
  7. Philips AVENT Freeflow Pacifier: When Josh was a newborn her preferred the Soothie pacifier, and refused to use the Freeflow. But as soon as he started chewing on things more, he swapped and only liked the Freeflow and refused the Soothie. I think it’s a better fit for his mouth now that he is bigger. I have them all over the house, and he rarely falls asleep without it.
  8. ZoLi Chubby Gummy Gum Massager: I thought Josh started teething at 4 months, but he still hasn’t had a tooth break through yet. But he sure does love chewing on things, especially these Gummy Massagers. We call it his chewy. We put it in his hand, and he brings it up to his mouth and gnaws on it. It’s so cute! And I think it makes his gums feel better when his teeth are growing. Hoping we’ll see his first tooth any day!
  9. Baby Einstein Discover and Play Piano:  Josh has a couple of toys that I spread out for floor time, and the clear winner is his piano. I think he likes the music and that it lights up. It’s the toy he spends the most time with. Other toys he likes are the Oball rattle, Oball car, stacking tower, twisty 8 teether, musical tunes toy, and his keys.
  10. Fisher-Price Precious Planet Whale of a Tub: I was giving Josh sink baths, until he started splashing and kicking water around like crazy. Almost all the water ended up on my kitchen floor. Then I got him his whale bath tub and bath time was so much funner! I put it in the bathtub, and he can kick and splash as much as he wants. It also uses a lot less water than if I filled the whole tub.
  11. Activity Gym: This made tummy time and floor time a lot funner for Josh. He loved laying under this activity gym and reaching for all the toys and looking at himself in the mirror.
  12. Little Blue Truck Book: Josh has a *ton* of books, but Little Blue Truck is my favorite. We read it every night before bed. I have it memorized. I really recommend getting board books, so the pages don’t rip when the baby reaches for them.
  13. Sesame Street: Thank goodness we have HBO. I record Sesame Street for Josh and he is obsessed with it! I can’t believe it. If something else is on TV, he’ll casually glance at it. But as soon as I put on Sesame Street and he hears the opening song, his head whips around and he is mesmerized by it. I don’t mind it either. It’s cute! And there are tons of celebrity appearances. There are now lots of Sesame Street songs stuck in me and Shawn’s head all day.
  14. Cameo Video Editor App: I was starting to get overwhelmed by the number of video clips I had of Josh on my phone. What was I going to do with all of them? Then I discovered the Cameo App, and I love it. It let’s you really easily make home movies right on your iPhone. It’s what I use to make all of the Life’s Lovely videos I post. You just grab the few seconds you want, and you can easily rearrange the clips in the order you want. Very user friendly, even for someone like me who has no idea how to edit video. They have great music to choose from too. I now make 1 a month. Great way to relieve my favorite memories!
