A delicious detox green juice recipe made with spinach, fennel, green apples, cucumbers, mint, and lemon. This healthy, fresh juice recipe is a great reset for the digestive system, super easy to make, and much more budget-friendly than store-bought versions.

What is Detox Green Juice?

Detox juices are nourishing, detoxifying juices filled with nutrient-dense ingredients that are high in vitamins improve immune system health, cleanse the body from toxins, and maintain healthy skin! They’re hydrating, delicious, and full of antioxidants that do wonders for our bodies!

My homemade, easy green juice recipe is full of leafy greens, fruits, and green vegetables like spinach, fresh apples, cucumber, fennel, mint, and lemon.  It is light, crisp, and delicious and has a natural sweetness from the fruit. After drinking it you can feel your body absorbing the nutrients.

There are so many benefits of green juice, especially after times of indulgence, illness, or when you just need a reset. There are tons of healthy juices and popular veggie and fruit juice cleanses at specialty stores like Whole Foods, but they can be super expensive (hello celery juice craze). This homemade version is a great option to make your detox juice more budget-friendly.

What Makes This Recipe Great

I created this recipe when I was in NEED of some nutrition.

One year, my sister threw a New Year’s Eve dinner party for a few friends. We played games, we sipped our way through a few bottles of champagne, and we ate. Oh boy, did we eat. Steak, lobster, scallops, shrimp. Not to mention mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and bread on bread on bread. We rang in the new year right. It was amazing. And filling.

After all the eating and drinking, I needed to detox the next day. And I found that kick-starting my health with this rejuvenating Detox Green Juice always did the trick. It had a gorgeous green color, was perfectly sweet and balanced, and I just felt better after drinking it.

So my super secret (not so secret) green detox juice recipe was born, and I absolutely LOVE it! Even better, juicing at home is more affordable, easy to customize, and so versatile!

Many people drink green juice for weight loss, juice fasts, etc. If this is you, I recommend consulting a professional to make sure you are getting the proper nutrition for your individual needs.

Do I Need a Juicer?

I splurged and got the Breville 800JEXL juicer and I *love* it! It makes it so easy to make juices all the time for breakfast, or a snack. If you’re thinking of getting a juicer, I highly recommend it. Get’s out all the juice from the produce, juices everything quickly, and is easy to clean.

If you don’t have a juicer, you can do this in a blender, which Kelly from Just a Taste does a great job explaining and includes an easy-to-follow video.
