This oven bacon hack has completely changed the way I cook bacon.
It is so easy! There’s no cleanup! The bacon comes out crispy and perfect every time!
Rather than cooking the bacon over the stove, you just lay the bacon on a parchment lined rimmed baking sheet and allow the bacon to cook in the oven.
By cooking it gently in the oven, the bacon cooks evenly and comes out crispy and perfect. All while I can get the rest of breakfast ready and not have hot bacon grease spattering on me. Win win!
Did you know almost all bacon has sugar in it? To keep my bacon whole30, keto + paleo I get my bacon from Butcherbox (which I highly recommend!). You can also get sugar free bacon at Whole Foods. Be sure to read your labels!
To get the most value out of my bacon, and to avoid food waste, I save all my bacon drippings in a mason jar. It makes the best cooking fat, I especially like to use it to scramble my eggs!

Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the bacon in an even layer (not overlapping).
Bake for 25-35 minutes, until the bacon is the amount of crispiness you desire. No need to flip the bacon while baking.
Transfer the cooked bacon to paper towels to drain and cool. Enjoy!
Pour the bacon grease (pork fat) into an airtight container and save to use as cooking oil! Great for scrambled eggs!
