1 cup strong black coffee, hot (I use dark roast made in a french press)
1/2 cup almond milk (or canned coconut cream if you want it richer!)
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
In a high speed blender, combine all ingredients and blend on high speed for 1 minute.
Serve warm. Or over ice for an iced mocha. Or add in a handful of ice cubes to the blender and blend again for a frappe!
If you’re not doing a whole30, you can sweeten this with 1 tablespoon date paste, pure maple syrup, or coconut sugar.
