Happy Sunday!

It has been so cold this week and really starting to feel like fall! And by cold, I mean it by this California girls standards of in the 50°’s, haha! I got the boys these cute little puffy vests, and it’s fun getting them dressed for cold weather.

We decorated for Christmas last Sunday, because 2020 can use ALLLLL the extra holiday cheer. Amiright? Having the tree and lights up has made our house feel so cozy and festive. Highly recommend decorating early if you need a little pick me up!

What’s Been Cooking?

On Sunday, I shared my Thanksgiving Roundup post. Already thinking all things Thanksgiving!

On Monday, I shared these Keto Caramelized Onion + Rosemary Brie Bites. This is what I’m making as an appetizer at our Thanksgiving gathering!

On Tuesday, I shared these Keto + Whole30 Verde Chicken Tacos and my newest favorite whole30 + keto friendly taco shells. Easiest family dinner ever!

Weekly Menu

Here is my meal plan for the week! Lots of yummy and cozy fall meals for you!

Favorite Toys for Toddler/Little Boys

Shopping for a little boy this Christmas? After MANY REQUESTS I put together a shopping guide of all the favorite toys I have and love for my 2 little boys (ages 2 and 4). We live in a really small 700 sq ft house, so any toy we have is something the boys use and love constantly. Most of these would be great for little girls too!

Giveaway!

I’ve got a great giveaway going with Natural Heaven to win a years worth of their hearts of palm pasta! It is my *favorite* whole30 + keto friendly pasta swap out. It tastes the closest to pasta of any product I’ve found. (Code TASTESLOVEY gets you 10% off on their site!) Head to this post to enter! Winner chosen tomorrow!

Christmas Cards

I shared a tiny sneak peak of me stuffing my Christmas cards. Anyone else OBSESSED with Christmas cards? It might be my favorite part of the holiday season. I always get mine from Minted. I love their address assistant where they print the recipient address on all the envelopes for you, for free! I get our return address printed too. This saves me tons of time, plus I think it looks so much better than my “just ok” handwriting. I don’t have a code for you, but they always seem to have one going on their site during the holidays to save on their cards. I’ll be sending out an email with our Christmas Cards the first week of December to you!

Peppermint Mocha

I’ve started adding a few drops of peppermint extract to my favorite keto mocha. Delicious! And so festive for the holidays. I use this recipe, just serve it hot!

Funny Story of the Week

This is a text exchange from Wednesday between me and one of my best friends Courtney, who is a nurse. Guaranteed to make you laugh!

3 important lessons learned:

  1. If you hear a weird clanking noise when making an almond coconut crust in your food processor, it’s very like it’s from the glass bowl you broke right over the food processor the week before (when you were having a bad day because you got outbid on a dream house. And cried about breaking the glass bowl and all the other feelings from the week) Don’t ignore this noise, investigate.
  2. If you don’t have a best who is a nurse, get one ASAP. It’s *extremely* convenient. And way less scary than WebMD.
  3. Keto pumpkin cheesecakes coming to the blog tomorrow! It’s so good, you’ll eat it knowing there’s broken glass in the crust! Haha! (broken glass in the crust is very optional)

Little Luxury of the Week

I love these ceramic mugs from Anthropologie! The same one pictured above with my peppermint mocha. It holds SO MUCH! A full 2 cups. Plus, really pretty with a handmade look.

Have A Great Week!

Me and baby boy #3 are wishing you a great week!

(Currently 30 weeks pregnant, HOW has it gone by so fast?! Should probably start getting baby things ready!)

Hugs,
Natalie
