How Long It Took Me To Lose Weight Eating Keto
I’m often getting asked how long it took me to lose weight eating clean keto.
If you’re new here, I lost 50 pounds in 6 months. Here is the post where I write about Everything I Did To Lose Weight Eating Clean Keto that should answer every question you have.
It didn’t happen overnight, but at the same time the weight seemed to melt off consistently and relatively quickly.
I’d like to emphasize that the scale number is just a bonus of this health journey. The non-scale victories have had a far larger impact on my life: better sleep! more energy! better mood! my clothes fit better! stronger immune system! more confidence!
I can’t promise you will have my exact results, but I’m sharing everything else I’m doing, so it only makes sense to share the weight loss results as well!

Highest Weight: 255 pounds
Starting Weight: 238 pounds (on 9-3-2019)
Current Weight: 188 pounds (on 3-3-2020)
Height: 5’9″
How Much I Lost Each Month
Month 1
I started September 3, 2019 at 238 pounds.
The first month I lost 17 pounds.
Month 2
The second month, October 2019, I lost another 13 pounds, bringing my total weight loss to 30 pounds.
Month 3
The third month, November 2019, I lost another 8 pounds. And yes, I stuck to clean keto through Thanksgiving! This brought my total weight loss to 38 pounds.
Month 4
Month 4, December 2019, I lost another 6 pounds. Stuck to clean keto through all of the Christmas Holiday get togethers and a week long family vacation to a cabin in the snow. This brought my total weight loss to 44 pounds.
Month 5
Month 5, January 2020, I lost another 3 pounds. This brought my weight loss total to 47 pounds.
Month 6
Month 6, February 2020, I lost another 3 pounds. This brought my weight loss total to 50 pounds in 6 months!

My question is why you lost the most of the weight in the first 2 months and then lost 3-6 pounds the rest of the months? Have you lost more weight after 6 months?
You always drop the most weight in the beginning! And then a little more each month by sticking with it.
