Beer Margaritas with Bud Light Lime
Well friends, today is a very exciting day! This morning Shawn and I boarded a plane and are headed to Maui for 1 whole week! I’m so excited, it almost doesn’t feel real! It’s even more exciting, because we’re going up with my sister, her husband, and our great friends Kelly and Kyle. Best friends and an island adventure? Yes please!
Shawn and I have been so busy all summer long, between moving and filming weddings almost every weekend, I couldn’t be happier that we are #upforwhatever no matter what the summer brings. And I’m glad this time, it’s a much needed Hawaiian vacation.
Earlier in the summer the 6 of us decided we deserved a little vacation. What fun is summer without a little spontaneous adventure? We rented a house in Maui, got the plane tickets, and are in for a very exciting week. I can’t wait to slip my toes in the sand, read a good book, and drink an ice cold beer (or two, or three!) and enjoy everything that this vacation has in store for us.
I’ll of course be enjoying my fair share of my new favorite beer, Bud Light Lime. Bud Light Lime is a beer with a refreshing twist of lime flavor. It is one of my favorite beers to drink when I’m out with friends having a fun night on the town. When you’re #upforwhatever, Bud Light Lime is the perfect beer–your ticket to spontaneous summer fun. Be sure to check out the new sleek cans from Bud Light Lime!
Cheers to a week of snorkeling, windsurfing, golfing (the boys), laying out and tanning (the girls), eating great food and enjoying many, many beers and cocktails while watching the sunset over the ocean. Or in this case, beer cocktails!
As if Bud Light Lime wasn’t tasty enough on its own, if you pour it over ice, add in some tequila and lime juice, you have the most delicious beer margaritas. Because what’s better than adding beer to your favorite cocktail? Do yourself a favor, buy yourself some Bud Light Lime and make these beer margaritas.

Natalie, I am so glad to know that I am not the only one to use beer in my margaritas! I have been doing this for years and it just smooths them out into deliciousness. Whenever I have told anyone how I made it they always think it is so weird. However, they guzzle them down. :)
What a great use for BLL! These look so delicious and refreshing, and I love how easy they are to make! I hope you have an amazing trip – can’t wait to see pictures! I went to Maui for my honeymoon – you are making me want to go back!
I’m so jealous that you are in Maui right now!! My husband and I went there on our honeymoon and completely fell in love with it. I have no doubt that you are having such an awesome time there right now! Make sure to share you photos with us when you get back, so we can live vicariously through you! Since I can’t be in Maui right now, I will settle for enjoying one of these tasty margaritas instead :)
Oh boy I am so hoping you missed the hurricanes! If not, I’m thinking a future blog post of that will be necessary! Also, how do you get beer sponsors! I want a Chardonnay sponsor!! :)
