I’m starting a new recipe series of keto recipes made using 5 ingredients or less from Trader Joe’s! #5ingredientketotraderjoes! This is where I share a keto recipe that I made using 5 ingredients or less from Trader Joe’s (not counting salt, pepper + cooking oil).
I’m starting off this series with these keto chile lime burger bowls that are ready in less than 15 minutes! And all the ingredients cost me $15!
Trader Joe’s Ingredients Needed
Here are the 5 ingredients I grabbed for this recipe:
- chile lime chicken burgers (in the freezer section!)
- guacamole (I love the individual cups, but any would work!)
- organic lettuce blend
- cilantro dressing (in the fridge section by the lettuces)
- 1 bell pepper

This super simple recipe is the cooked chile lime chicken burger (so flavorful!) topped with guacamole and served over a salad.

Keto Chile Lime Chicken Burger Bowls
Ingredients
- 1 Trader Joe’s chile lime chicken burger
- 2 oz guacamole
- half the bag of organic lettuce blend
- 2 tablespoons cilantro dressing
- 1/2 a bell pepper, thinly sliced
- pantry staple needed: 1 tablespoon of ghee or olive oil or avocado oil
Equipment
Instructions
- Cook the patties by heating your cast iron skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the ghee to the skillet, and cook the chile lime chicken burger (straight from frozen) for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Make the salad while the chicken burger is cooking. In a medium size bowl, toss the lettuce and bell pepper with the cilantro dressing.
- Serve by transfer the salad to a plate. Top with the cooked chile lime chicken burger and guacamole.

Great Idea! and would have been under $15 without that darn bag fee! HAHA .. I recently became a empty nester with our last son heading off to college so this is perfect for us now, with just one or two people !
