Whole30 + Keto Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos Recipe – 7g net carbs! A low carb cilantro lime chicken taco with a creamy, spicy Mexican coleslaw. Paleo, gluten free, grain free, dairy free, sugar free, clean eating, real food.
Tacos! That are delicious, Keto AND Whole30 friendly!
These Whole30 + Keto Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos are such a simple and satisfying dinner combining 2 of my favorite Mexican inspired dishes: my cilantro lime chicken thighs and my spicy Mexican coleslaw. Plus, my newest favorite low carb and Whole30 friendly taco wrap.

One of the best part of tacos is setting up the taco bar. I love a super simple taco.
For these tacos, I’ll roast up a batch of my cilantro lime chicken thighs that I chop up, a bowl of my spicy Mexican coleslaw, some chopped white onion, chopped cilantro, sliced jalapeños and wedges of fresh lime.
Best Keto Taco Wraps
I have a new favorite Whole30 + keto friendly taco wrap! The jicama wraps from Trader Joe’s! (Not sponsored, just sharing what I love!) They’re the perfect size, have a very neutral flavor so all you taste is the taco, and a slight crunch that make it feel like a crispy shell taco. Best part? Each jicama wrap is only .5g net carbs! The jicama wraps are in the refrigerated section by the prepped veggies at my Trader Joe’s.
Another great option is butter lettuce or romaine lettuce leaves. Both are very Whole30 + Keto friendly, and available at any grocery store.
You could also use a low carb tortilla. Trader Joe’s makes one, as does Mission. I personally don’t love these for tacos. They have a pretty strong “whole wheat” flavor that doesn’t really go with taco for me. I taste the tortilla way more than the taco filling. I like these low carb tortillas for quesadillas or a turkey lunch wrap much more, where I don’t mind the flavor of a whole wheat wrap.

Omg these were so amazing!! Even my kids ate these. I’ve been stuck in a food rut, but had a bunch of garden cilantro to use up. They were the perfect warm night meal and so easy to put together! It was 90 degrees today and these hit the spot!
That is fantastic that your kids enjoyed them too Lauren. That is such a mom win! So glad they helped you get out of your food rut. We’ve all been there.
MmmmmMmmmmm uhMAzing! Saw it, had all the ingredients, made it for supper, plus rice. My son and his girlfriend came over and they turned it into Chipotle-style burritos. I didn’t have the wraps you used, but that’s ok. Will be making again!! Thanks!
