Reese’s S’mores on Ritz Crackers
I don’t mean to start a panic…but…we’ve been doing s’mores WRONG! All wrong. Because these Reese’s s’mores on Ritz crackers are kiiiind of life changing. It’s everything you love about regular s’mores, with the added bonus of peanut butter and salty, buttery Ritz crackers. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to have a regular s’mores again.
You’re gonna want some more of these s’mores.
See what I did there?
I’m a huge fan of salty and sweet combinations. Salted caramel, kettle corn, chocolate covered pretzels, all better with the addition of a little bit of salt that compliments the sweet and balances out the flavor. Here you get a little bit of salt from the Reese’s peanut butter cups, and a little bit of salt from the Ritz crackers. It’s amazing.
I don’t mean to brag, but I’m an expert marshmallow roaster. I hold it near the hottest part of the fire, and slowly rotate it so the inside becomes perfectly melted and the outside gets nice and golden brown. I’m a tad OCD about it. If you’re OCD like me, you’re going to love that Reese’s cups are the perfect size for the Ritz cracker. It’s as if Reese’s and Ritz got together and knew Reese’s S’mores on Ritz crackers were going to be a huge hit, and wanted to make sure they’re were equally proportioned.
Gather round the campfire and make these Reese’s s’mores all summer long.

Ok so totally drooling after reading this post! These little treats look amazing and I totally agree with you on the whole sweet and salty thing. Must try these!
Thanks Jess! It’s a great combination, you must try it next time you make s’mores!
Wait….omg….you are a genius! These look amazing, and they look so much better than regular s’mores! Sweet n Salty is so good, and I love the size of these!! Much more manageable than regular s’mores. Plus, peanut butter? enough said.
great idea to use ritz!
Thanks Dina! You’ve gotta try it
Next time I go camping, I’m getting you to come along as the chief marshmallow-roaster. The sweet-salty combo isn’t so common over here in the UK, but I’m a fan! Love these!
So simple why hasn’t anyone done this before? You are a sweet salty genius!
Thanks Krystle! Can’t believe I didn’t start doing this sooner! It’s so tasty. I bought the ingredients so I can make more tonight!
Natalie, I would say you are a pro marshmallow roaster! These look so scrumptious!
Thanks Gloria! I’m definitely a little OCD about roasting my marshmallows. Ha! But it’s worth it because they turn out so perfect. You must try this method the next time you make s’mores!
These are totally crazy amazing looking!!! I live for sweet & salty combos so yeah… buttery ritz, melty chocolate. You’re speakin’ my language. :)
These seriously look like the best thing ever!! Peanut butter cups in s’mores are to die for but adding ritz crackers is genius! Can’t wait to make these as my first s’mores this summer!
Seriously? OMG these look amazing! We are huge Ritz cracker fans – we buy them in the 6 pack mini rolls in the dispenser box – marketing genius’ those guys! And don’t even get me started with the peanut butter cups….triple yum on the yum-o-meter!
Oh my gosh, I love this! I’ve never been a big fan of graham crackers anyway and that salty/sweet combo is perfect!! What a neat idea :)
I cant wait to try making these this weekend. My daughter is going to love them. :) Thanks for a great recipe Natalie. I can surely see how these are awesomewith Ritz crackers.
This is totally making me itch over the sweet/salty combo…that is my jam! We just made regular s’mores over the holiday weekend and now I need to fire some up again so I can try this. Why did it never cross my mind to do this before?! YUM!
Roasting marshmallows is so much fun!! I haven’t done it in so long, but I think I will have to fix that this weekend! Peanut butter cups are my favorite and that is such a great idea to add them to smores!! I think I need a roasting lesson from you, because I usually just stick mine straight in and let it catch on fire and then the outside is charred, but the inside isn’t quite soft and gooey. I’ll learn someday!
woah woah woah. I’m lovin’ this SO much. I’m right there with ya Natalie with being obsessed with sweet and salty combos! It’s my favorite thing. I can never choose between sweet or salty if someone asks me which I prefer…BOTH together is the answer :D Anywho, guess I need to have a fire soon so I can try this. Happy you pointed out the OCD thing with everything being the same size. I actually have a minor pet peeve of using a half a bar of hersheys for one stinkin smore’. So the fact that the marshmallow, choco reeses and ritz are all the same size makes me HAPPY!
Brilliant and beautiful! Love this easy pleasing snack.
Have a wonderful day Natalie!
Of course….pinning. :)
What a GREAT idea, Nat. Who can think of making s’mores with Reese’s and Ritz crackers, but you girl?!! Loving it! Pinning it! As always, you rock ;-)
I think I need one of these s’mores ASAP. I can’t believe I’ve never tried a s’more with peanut butter. What a brilliant idea!
Thanks Kristine! You’re going to love them when you try them. It’s such a great combination, you’re going to be wondering why we’ve been eating them any other way. Thanks for reading!
Oh, gosh. That first gorgeous photo literally drew me in and now I’m craving s’mores and it’s not even 8am yet! I’m a BIG fan of salty/sweet combos too so I’m loving the use of the ritz cracker instead of the usual graham! And that melty reeses cup and those lovely roasted marshmallows? I’m dying. I need these s’mores in my life. Like yesterday. ;) Pinned to my s’mores board!
Thanks Sarah! You’re so sweet! Salty and sweet is the best. Love that you have a whole board dedicated to s’mores! You’re genius : )
I LOVE sweet and salty things, so these are right up my alley! Delicious!
So, I think we have to have a marshmallow roasting competition, as I think that I am the best roaster! But, we seem to have similar strategies. I guess I can share the title ;)
But really…I agree. we have been doing s’mores wrong. And, these…these are SO RIGHT. I am seriously dying…and I’m about to go to the gym which means that I can eat 10 of these when I get home! Pinned :)
I’m so glad you roast your marshmallows “the right way” too Taylor! Doesn’t it drive you nuts when people stick the marshmallow in, let it catch on fire a few seconds, blow it out then eat it? NO! And going to the gym means you can totally have 10 of these : )
