Whole30 + Keto Crispy Roasted Chicken Drumsticks + Wings

The most common way I cook the drumsticks and wings is to roast them in the oven until crispy and golden brown. It’s so much easier than you think! And by using this rimmed baking sheet that comes with a wire rack, they come out perfect every time!

To keep it interesting, I change up the seasoning I use on the drumsticks. Some favorites are simple salt + pepper. My cajun seasoning. Jerk seasoning. Lemon pepper. Old bay. Or sometimes I’ll slather them with a delicious sauce like my chimichurri or pesto after their done cooking.

The possibilities are endless!

  • Preheat your oven to 425ºF. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set in the wire rack. (The wire rack is important to ensure air circulates around the chicken and the skin gets crispy!)
  • Season your drumsticks + wings generously with salt + pepper, or your favorite dry rub.
  • Place the chicken on the wire rack. Roast for 30 minutes, flip, then roast another 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  • Serve warm. Leftovers will keep in an airtight container for at least 5 days.
